HIMLUNG HIMAL (7,126M)

  • Group Size :
  • Elevation : 7,126 m
  • Start From : Departs from Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Start on : 19th April 2024, 4th October 2024

Himlung Himal has an elevation of 7,126m and lies in the border of Nepal and Tibet, in the northern part of the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges. The ascent to its peak is technically less difficult than most, and so is a great way to begin mountaineering and to test your mettle on a seven thousander. However, although it is easier than the other seven thousanders to scale, it is still a challenge for those who are beginning their mountaineering journey. The trekking route to the base camp passes through two interesting and unique cultural Tibetan settlements, the Nar and Phu Gaun.

Himlung Himal and the route to its base camp has not been opened for trekkers and mountaineers for long. Few mountaineers travel here, so a trek to this place would give you a great opportunity to explore an almost untouched and unadulterated region of the country.
