Annapurna round and Pisang Base Camp

  • Group Size : 4 to 14 people
  • Elevation : Up to 5,400m
  • Start From : Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Start on : From Apr 01 to Jun 02, 2024

The Annapurna region in northwestern Nepal is a land that displays Nepal’s spectacular diversity in its finest, encompassing a bustling city, remote rural areas, deep valleys, and high mountains. It has Pokhara, the city of lakes and the largest tourist city of the country with three of the ten highest mountains in the world in its northern skyline. It has wet, subtropical forests in the lower region and cold, dry, windy plateaus in the higher region. The region has the deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki gorge, and the largest rhododendron forest in Ghorepani.

Besides the immense natural diversity, the region also boasts ethnic diversity with several Gurung, Magar, Thakali and Brahmin villages spread in the lower region and villages with Tibetan influences as we move north. The Annapurna region is the place to explore if you truly want to understand what Nepal has to show both in cultural and natural respects.

The ascension to Pisang Peak is a cherry on the top of the cake for those who love adventure and excitement. This peak is a considerably challenging trekking peak at an elevation of 6,091m. From the summit of the peak, you have a truly spectacular view of the Tilicho peak, Annapurna II and IV, Gangapurna and the Glacier Dome.
