Langtang is a narrow valley that lies just below the Himalayan range to the north, close to the Tibetan border, and slightly lower than the range of snowy peaks in the south. It is one of the nearest trekking destinations from Kathmandu with an unparalleled combination of natural beauty and cultural richness.

The trek begins with an altitude of 1,460m with a constant rise in altitude up to 5,000m approximately, hiking up through the trials of lush green bamboo and rhododendron forests to snow-capped mountains. The spectacle of rhododendron in its full bloom during spring are breathtaking. This trek leads you exploring through ethnic tribe villages of Tamang, Sherpa, and Tibetan. If the weather is clear, mountains like Langtang Lirung, Naya kanga, Yala peak, Ganesh Himal can be clearly viewed from Tsergo Ri.
